Im sick of listening to Barry whine about nobody making any picks so here they go:
Bullets vs Birds Heard the birds made some key aquisitions in the offseason that would help put this team back in the playoffs. So far these guys havent done shit except beat a rams team that is in a fast spiral downwards. The Bullets are starting to regain their old form and have one of the best o- lines in the league protecting their MVP. Robbens with time to throw equals disater for opposing defenses. Bullets 42-12
BOmbers vs Pigs THe bombers proved to be overrated and the Pigs talk a good game. The question is whether the Bombers can get their shit back together after getting trounced by the bullets. I think they will in a physical slugfest. Bombers 26-20 OT
Gates vs chigers
The chigers still suck but have improved. Gates has a decent offense but still suck. I agree: unwatchable..but tommy gets his first win Chigs 30-24
Titans vs Rams Should be a good one. Why the titans put Jones in at qb to run the option is a mystery to me. What do they think, this guy is going to lead them to the promise land running the option ala tony rice in '88??? Umm, I dont think so. If the Rams can stop the run, they could win. The have the defense to get it done and its a must win. Rams 7-6

Silverbullets over the Firebirds - 38-6
I don't know about the other games, nor do I really care! The Bullets showed last week that they are the class of the Albany C division. This week should be fun because the 'birds always give us a good game. I expect they will do the same on Sunday (although the score won't be indicative of it). This game will be a great tune-up for the Silverbullets before they avenge last spring's loss to the Titans. I sure hope the Titans come with a full squad so the game can live up to its billing as "The Game of the Fall" in the Albany C's.
By the way Dobbs, I was reading your very insightful preseason predictions, not bad. But after the way the Bullets disposed of the Bombers last week, I am reminded of the movie Happy Gilmore. Like Happy, the Bullets could always "hit the longball", but if you remember how the movie went, I would be careful. Because "Uh Oh, the bullets learned how to play D!"
